amiodarone can be given once after epinephrine. If ventricular
fibrillation occurs again after the process of defibrillation, a
lower dose of amiodarone can be given for 10 minutes followed by a
continuous infusion. Certain other drugs can also be considered as
they are considered to be useful in specific settings. One of the

the heart rate and it is mainly administered during high-degree
atrioventricular nodal block. Calcium chloride is another drug which
is recommended for patients specially with hyperkalemia,

cardiac arrest in the victim. For treating refractory ventricular
fibrillation, the drug procianamide can be used. Sodium bicarbonate
can be considered for children if the cardiac arrest in them is
prolonged. Sodium bicarbonate is recommended for cardiac arrest
caused by hyperkalemia, or hypermagnesemia. All these are names of
some of the drugs which can be used during a cardiac arrest but
